Sarah James is a British singer, songwriter and highly qualified vocal coach with a long and varied career in communication, stage and studio performance.
Having toured extensively throughout Europe over a 20 year career span, the universal appeal of her stage presence and dynamic performance has taken her far beyond the UK and Europe, to the Caribbean, Australasia and even to Lapland. She has sung as guest artist of many famous names including artists as diverse as Status Quo, Maceo Parker, The Corrs and Ruby Turner.
Formerly based in London, she coached singers and actors at Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance, the Central School of Speech and Drama, and Brighton Institute of Modern Music, as well as mentoring private students in her own studio. She holds a Masters degree with distinction in Voice Studies, and is also in demand as a speech and accent coach.
Understanding that we all learn differently, she draws from a broad spectrum of teaching methods to create a holistic approach tailored to the individual. She now trains singers and speakers of all nationalities to make the most of their voice from her base in Paris France.
